Lithuanian Cycling Championships – Inga Česuliene and Venant Lašiniis

The Lithuanian “Nordic Sugar” road cycling championship (criteria) was held in the old city of Kėdainiai for the second year in a row. In the women’s elite (20 rounds; 10 TF), the Lithuanian singles champion Inga Česulienė (“Aromitalia – Basso Bikes – Vaiano”) defended the title, and in the men’s elite (20 rounds; 10 TF) Baltic And the Lithuanian team race won the gold medal Venantas Lašinis (Kaunas Cycling Team).

95 cyclists took part in the race, with participants completing 10 to 20 laps of each 1.7 km. The largest number of participants started in the boys group – 22.

I. ulesulienė earned 50 points. The silver medal was won by Olivija Baleišytė (Dubai Police, 30 points) and the bronze by Akvilė Gedraitytė (Dubai Police, 28 points).

V. Lašinis scored 55 points. The silver went to Eimantas Gudiškis (Colibri Cycling, 33 points), who became the Lithuanian Mountain bike (MTB) cross-marathon (XCM) champion before the championship, and the bronze went to Aristidas Kelmelis (Kaunas SM “Gaja”). Points). Gustas Raugala (Kaunas Cycling Team, 11 points) was fourth and Artūras Kazakevičius (Kaunas Cycling Team, 8 points) was fifth.

In the boys’ team (20 rounds, 10 TF), representatives of the សាលាilalė សាលា sports school and the club “Kvėdarna” coached by Kęstutis Česitis won all the prizes: Jomantas Venckus, Kristupas Mikutis and Justinas Venckus. By the way, the students of K. Česaitis won a total of seven medals (4-1-2).

The winners of the elite, youth and children’s group were presented with a check issued by the general sponsor of the championship company “Nordic Sugar Kėdainiai”. The prize money of the championship is up to 3000 Euros. Kėdainiai District Governor Valentinas Tamulis and Deputy Mayor Paulius Aukštikalnis present medals to the winners of the elite. The veteran received a gift from the company “Kėdainiai konservai”.

Contestants can refresh themselves with “Vytautas” and “Birutė” natural mineral water.

During the break, the “Dadu’s Challenge” ice skating is organized for children aged 3-6 at the K ទីផ្សារdainiai main market. All participants receive a special medal and Dadu ice cream.

The race in Kėdainiai is organized by the Lithuanian Cycling Federation together with the partner – Kėdainiai District Municipality and the cycling club “VeloRatai”.
